New Research: One more reason to use microcurrent!

It has been well established that most over the counter painkillers have serious issues. Tylenol (Acetaminophen) can cause severe liver damage when used regularly. Opiod painkillers such as Vicodin are addictive. Even regular use of aspirin could cause internal bleeding in susceptible individuals.

New research from the University of Oxford, England reported that there are significant heart risks for the two most popular NSAIDS (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) ibuprofen and diclofenac. This study found that for every 1000 patients taking either of these drugs in high dosages commonly prescribed for arthritis and other chronic pain issues there would be the following:

3 additional heart attacks
4 heart failures
1 death

The risks of using ibuprofen and diclofenac double in people who have pre-existing heart disease or are smokers. A high dosage would be considered 150 mg of diclofenac or 2400 mg of ibuprofen.

Microcurrent electro-acupuncture or some forms of needle acupuncture can provide profound pain relief with none of these risks. In my experience the most effective microcurrent electro-acupuncture regimens for arthritis and chronic pain include a combination of:

Local treatment (circling the Dragon) with cool colors of light

Polarized local-distal treatment with + on the painful area and – on distal acu-points that are known to be effective for pain relief in the affected area

Root treatment – balancing of Organs or chakras that have a governing effect on the painful body region, and help balance emotional states that are connected with the pain

Auricular Micro-Macro technique
